Connect the battery charge leads to the charger by clamping
the bare ends of the lead into the output. Please ensure
correct polarity (+ = red, - = black).
•
Connect the input power lead into the socket on the back of
the charger and connect the mains plug into the supply.
•
Connect the battery (or batteries) to be charged to one of
the outputs. The LED corresponding to this output should
glow Red to indicate fast charging.
•
When the battery is fully charged, the peak circuitry will
terminate the fast charge and the LED will turn Green to
indicate that the battery is now fully charged.
The charging time for a discharged pack can be calculated by:-
Time (hours) = Battery Capacity (mAh) x 1.2
Average Charge Rate (2500mA)
•
Do not charge packs that cannot accept fast charging.
•
Always monitor the battery packs being charged and
disconnect from the charger if the pack becomes
excessively hot.
•
NEVER
leave the charger unattended whilst charging.
•
DO NOT
fast charge batteries immediately after use while
they are still warm. Allow to cool to ambient temperature
before charging.
