Installation
Installation (Wood Floor)
Step 1:
Place the fixture in desired location. Mark with a pencil
through the pre-drilled holes on each side of the fixture where
you will need to pre-drill for screws.
Step 2:
With a drill and appropriate sized bit, drill holes for
screws to the correct depth.
Step 3:
Fasten to surface through the pre-drilled holes in the
fixture using supplied screws until secure.
Installation (Cement Floor or Other Surface)
Step 1:
Place the fixture in desired location. Mark with a pencil
through the pre-drilled holes on each side of the fixture where
you will need to pre-drill for screws (and anchors if required).
Step 2:
With a drill and appropriate sized bit, drill holes for
screws (and anchors if required) to the correct depth. If you are
using the supplied anchors, use a hammer to tap the anchors all
the way into the surface.
Step 3:
Fasten to surface through the pre-drilled holes in the
fixture using supplied screws until secure (secure into anchors
if required).
Battery Replacement (figure 2)
Step 1:
Remove the 4 screws on the bottom of the light.
Step 2:
Remove the battery compartment cover.
Step 3:
Replace the battery with a new AA Ni-Mh solar
rechargeable battery, ensuring the correct polarity is observed.
Step 4:
Reassemble the unit by reversing the above procedure.
Step 5:
Allow the unit to fully charge in direct sunlight for up to
2 days. Once fully charged, your solar light will automatically
turn on once it gets dark.
CAUTION: RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES CONTAIN NICKEL-
CADMIUM OR NICKEL-METAL HYDRIDE AND MUST BE
RECYCLED OR DISPOSED OF PROPERLY. DO NOT MIX OLD
AND NEW BATTERIES. DO NOT MIX ALKALINE, STANDARD
(CARBON-ZINC), OR RECHARGEABLE (NI-CAD, NI-MH,
ETC.) BATTERIES. DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERIES IN
FIRE. BATTERIES MAY EXPLODE OR LEAK. THE BATTERIES
CANNOT BE INGESTED.
