Donde colocar el humidor
Coloca el humidor en una superficie estable donde no sufra golpes.
Para prevenir el crecimiento de moho, ten tu humidor en un lugar
fresco y seco. Evita colocar el humidor en un lugar donde le dé
permanentemente la luz solar. Si la humedad y la temperatura
aumentan demasiado, el producto puede verse dañado.
Revisiones periódicas
Debes revisar el nivel de humedad y temperatura al menos una vez
cada dos semanas para asegurar que los valores no cambian.
Como norma, cuando la humedad baja del 55% debes añadir más
solución de PG o agua destilada a la esponja humidificadora.
Nunca se debe usar agua del grifo para recargar la esponja ya que
contiene minerales y cloro que pueden obstruir los poros dejándola
inservible. Añade unas gotas de solución PG o agua destilada a la
esponja humidificadora hasta que esté bien saturada; asegúrate de
que no pierde agua.
Where to place the humidor
Place the humidor on a flat stable surface where it will not be
unreasonably bumped or disturbed. Store your humidor in a cool,
dry place to prevent mold growth. Avoid placing your humidor in
direct sunlight. If the temperature and humidity gets too high, your
green can develop a potentially damaging fungus or mold.
Regular checks
Make sure that you check the humidity level at least every two
weeks to ensure that the humidity does not vary. As a rule, when
humidity drops to 55% you should add more PG solution or distilled
water to the humidifier. You should never use tap water as it
contains minerals and chlorine that can clog the humidifier’s pores
and inhibit operation. Add a few drops of PG solution or distilled
water to the humidifier until it is well saturated. Dry off the surface of
the humidifier and make sure that it does not drip water.
