IMPORTANT WARNING
Whenever the product has been lying horizontally during
transportation, it should be left to stand upright for at
least six hours before it is switched on, otherwise it may
be noisy when it is in operation.
NOTE: Before inserting the plug into the electri-
cal socket, ensure that the line voltage corresponds
with that indicated in the product data plate. Connect
the socket to the mains. Do not use adapters or
extension leads, as these may overheat and burn.
SWITCHING ON THE APPLIANCE
Open the door. The refrigerator starts by pressing the
1 ON/OFF button for at least 0.5 seconds, followed by
an acoustic signal (1 BEEP): the display shows the
temperature set in the refrigerator compartment and
flashes for 6 seconds, then the actual temperature of the
compartment appears. The display shows a temperature
range between 0 and +20°C. If a temperature higher
than +20°C is detected, the display (3) will show the
“H” symbol (steady light). After 30 seconds the appli-
ance starts operating. The appliance shutdown occurs
by pressing the 1 ON/OFF button for at least 5 seconds,
followed by an acoustic signal (2 BEEP). At this point
the display is off.
SETTING THE TEMPERATURE
The appliance has a standard setting suitable for normal
mode operation.
The temperature can be set between +2 °C and +7 °C. The
temperature is set by pressing the 2 UP/DOWN symbols,
UP for higher values and DOWN for lower values. Upon
starting the appliance, the display (3) shows the actual
temperature; it varies one degree at a time whenever
the 2 UP/DOWN symbols are slightly pressed; during
temperature setting, the displayed value flashes. About
5 seconds after the last symbol has been pressed, the
actual temperature is displayed. The temperature slowly
reaches the set value.
NOTE:
• The distance between the shelves and the rear internal
wall of the refrigerator ensures that air circulates freely.
• Do not place food in direct contact with the rear wall
of the refrigerator compartment.
• Do not place food that is still warm into the compart-
ments.
• Keep all liquids in closed containers.
