Using the appliance
NO-FROST
Technology
EN
N.B.: however, settings must be according to
the frequency with which the door is opened, the
room temperature and amount of food placed in the
appliance. With room temperature within 20 and 25
°C, we recommend setting on -18 °C.
SUPER FUNCTION
The SUPER function has been designed to achieve low
temperatures inside the freezer compartment in the
shortest time possible; touch the symbol “5 SUPER”
for at least 0.5 seconds, to activate the function for 30
hours; during this phase, the symbol “5 SUPER” appears
backlit and white; after 30 hours, the SUPER function is
deactivated automatically.
It can also be deactivated manually any time by touching
the symbol “5 SUPER” for at least 0.5 seconds; when
this function is deactivated, the symbol “5 SUPER” is off.
During operation in SUPER mode, all the other settings
are disabled temporarily.
The NO-FROST system guarantees a constant
temperature and a more rapid freezing capacity.
The humidity-free, forced air circulation tends to
dry food up quickly and for this reason we advise
keeping all food in closed containers.
FREEZER TEMPERATURE ALARM
The temperature alarm mode is activated when a tempera-
ture higher than -12°C (for example, -11°C) is detected
inside the freezer compartment. This may occur in the
following situations:
- a large amount of unfrozen food has been placed in
the freezer (see freezing modes);
- the door has been open for an extended period of
time;
- the electricity supply has been cut off for a prolonged
period of time;
- the appliance has malfunctioned.
The alarm mode is indicated by the flashing white“6
ALARM”symbol and by an audible alarm. The au-
dible alarm may be disabled by touching the “6
ALARM”symbol for 3 seconds; in this case the
alarm remains active and is indicated by the white“6
ALARM”symbol, which will stop flashing and remain lit
in a fixed manner.The alarm is disabled automatically, but
only when the temperature of the freezer compartment
falls below -12°C (for example, -13°C); when this hap-
pens, the ALARM symbol will no longer be illuminated.
IMPORTANT
- Never re-freeze partially thawed food and consume
it within 24 hours.
- Do not store frozen food for longer periods that
recommended.
