CANALIZATIONS
Proceed with the assembly of the air outlet duct
between the external motor and the product.
See the installation diagrams:
-with SEM16 figure 12;
Select the air outlet between the two lower or
rear options and install the supplied fitting. If you
intend to use the rear air outlet, you must first re-
move the flange from the product, install the pro-
duct in the cabinet and then restore the flange as
shown in figure 16.
IN THE CASE OF A FILTERING VERSION
The air outlet of the product must be connected
to the furniture outlet in such a way as to put the
sucked air back into the kitchen environment. The
pipes to be connected to the product air outlet
are not supplied. It is necessary to use charcoal
filters which can be purchased separately, and in-
stall them as indicated in (Fig. 17). The charcoal
filters are located immediately below the grease
filters, therefore, first install the carbon filters and
then the grease filters.
It is possible to purchase the ducting kit with grid
to be applied in the furniture.
IN CASE OF AN ASPIRATING VER-
SION
The product air outlet must be connected to the
outside of the house. The pipes to be connected
to the product air outlet are not supplied. Two
other plastic flanges are supplied to be able to
connect pipes of different sections. The flanges
provided have the following sections:
230x80mm
220x90mm
220x55mm (recommended only for installations
in the filtering version and for short sections of
channeling).
FINAL OPERATIONS
Install the two grease filters at the relative seat,
passing them through the opening of the movable
panel of the downdraft, see (Fig.17).
Keep a distance of 15 cm from the bottom of the
induction hobs to allow proper air circulation.
ELECTRICAL CONNECTIONS
Connection to the mains must be carried out in
accordance with the provisions of the internatio-
nal and local regulations in force.
the interconnection of any separate part of this
appliance must be performed by a qualified tech-
nician in compliance with the wiring rules.
No liability is accepted in the event of an accident
caused by a failed grounding or one incorrect
grounding.
Connect the control cable fixed under the hob
glass to the corresponding cable coming out of
the control box (Fig. 18A)
Connect the fan unit cable to the terminal board
inside the gray plastic box, see (Fig. 18B).
The SEM cable must be positioned inside the box
so that the motor cable does not touch the bridge
(SELV).
The wires must not be cut. Lock the SEM cable
with the cable clamp as shown in fig. 19.
