12-3-1-1 Resistor Network

Use a human-simulated resistor network such as shown below when measuring leakage current.
Leakage current is determined by measuring the voltages at both ends of the capacitor of the human-simulated
resistor network (AC and DC) and then converting them into current values using the formula shown below.
Note:
z Due to the strong effect leakage current has on human body, its testing methods, performance
of measuring instruments, limiting values, etc. are regulated by standards and laws. Leakage
current of this equipment should be measured using a measuring instrument compliant to
"IEC 60601-1", a standard for medical electrical equipment.
z The equipment would need repair if any leakage current values measured at different
measurement points exceed those prescribed by the standard.
