8 Troubleshooting

This chapter describes what to do out in case of malfunction.

8.1 Problems with the S120

In the case of a problem with the S120, contact the service department and discuss the
steps to be taken. Depending on the outcome of this discussion, you may be required to
carry out the following tasks:

Take a system dump in the case of an inexplicable system failure.

If one of the CPU, IOP, MCU, SVP, SCI, SPC, or PCI system components is defective,
the service department must carry out the necessary corrective measures.
