User’s Manual

Clearing Paper Jams

Close the rear unit.  After
removing the sheet, close
the rear unit until its lock
latches.  Be sure to return
the paper guide to the
original position if it is
drawn out.

Notice:

Do not close the rear unit of the duplex unit with the paper guide of
the printer drawn out.  It may break the paper guide.

Caution:

Be careful that your fingers or hair is not caught between the printer
and the duplex unit when closing the rear unit.

5. Clean the inside of the

printer. Look for spilled
toner inside the printer.
Clean away any toner with
a damp cloth.
