Main memory
Expanding/replacing main memory

If CPU 2 is installed, at least one DIMM module (DIMM 1D) must be
installed.
–
If DIMM modules with different memory capacities are to be installed for a
CPU, the modules with the lower memory capacity must be installed first.

Expanding/replacing main memory
Ê
Remove the server blade from the system unit and open it as described in
the
chapter “Preparation” on page 15
.

Press the holders on either side of the mounting location concerned outward
(1).
Ê
If the mounting location was already equipped: pull the DIMM module out of
the mounting location (2).
