2.2.2 Memory
This section describes the memory:
z The memory module (DIMM) uses double data rate synchronous dynamic random
access memory (DDR2 SDRAM).
z The memory module can be added in sets of four modules of the same type.
z One LDX has four DDR2 interface channels. Two DIMMs can be connected to
each channel.
z Single 4-bit block error correction - double 4-bit block error detection (S4EC-
D4ED) is used as the error correction function for high system reliability. S4EC-
D4ED is the DIMM error check function for 16 bytes (128 bits).
z The memory module is handled in sets of four modules, and one (four modules) to
eight set (32 modules) can be mounted on one SB.
