Switching on the notebook
The battery must be fully charged before running the notebook from the battery
for the
fi
rst time. Please note that the
fi
rst time the battery is charged will require
considerably more time than will be needed on subsequent occasions.

Slide the release button in direction of the
arrow (1) and open the LCD screen (2).

Press the ON/OFF switch (1) to switch
the notebook on.
The power-on indicator is lit.

If you have assigned a password, you must enter this when requested in order
to start the operating system. Detailed information can be found in the "Security
functions" section of the "Professional Notebook" Operating Manual.
