COD Enable
If not supported by the equipped CPU this item will not show up. CPUs
with 2 home agents are required. If COD (Cluster-on-Die) is enabled by
the end user BIOS will configure an additional NUMA node per socket,
which will optimize the performance on highly NUMA oriented workloads.
For COD enabled systems isochronous application have to be disabled
and early snooping is not supported.
Auto
If selected COD will be enabled if system configuration does allow
this.
Enabled
COD will be enabled.
Disabled
COD will be disabled.
Early Snoop
Early snooping is available in 2 socket configurations only if both QPI
links between the CPUs are engaged. Snoops will be launched from
different agents for local and remote requests which allows for reduced
latencies. As this mode is not supported when COD is enabled, it will
optimize performance for even not fully NUMA oriented workloads.
Auto
If selected early snoop mode will be enabled if system
configuration does allow this and COD is disabled.
Enabled
Early snooping will be enabled.
Disabled
Early snooping will be disabled.
