◆ Settings for overseas use

If you release SIM lock and use SIM by a carrier other than
NTT DOCOMO to perform data communication, set an
access point (APN) before use.

Setting Data roaming
To perform packet communications overseas, set Data
roaming settings to ON.

From the Home screen, → [Settings] → [Data
communication/Airplane mode] → [Cellular
networks]

[Data roaming] → Check the contents on the
Attention screen, [OK]

Setting Network operators
By default, the terminal is set to automatically search and
switch to an available network. To switch network manually,
perform the following operations.

From the Home screen,
→
[Settings]
→
[Data
communication/Airplane mode] → [Cellular
networks] → [Network operators]
Available networks are searched for and displayed.

When a message notifying that the network search is
not available, confirm the content and tap [OK].

Select a network of the network operator

If you have set a overseas specific network operator in the
country you visited, set the mode to [Select automatically]
after returning to Japan.

[4G/3G/GSM (Auto)]/[3G/GSM]/[GSM]

If the mode was set to [GSM] in the country you visited, set
the mode to [4G/3G/GSM (Auto)] after returning to Japan.

roaming
Set to use VoLTE when VoLTE is available during international
roaming.
