Switching audio control modes
Various audio control modes may be fine-tuned using this
procedure.
1. Press the [AUDIO CONTROL] button for less than
one second to select the item to be adjusted.
Each additional tap of the button switches in the order
of VOL, DSP*

, BASS (low frequencies), MID (middle
frequencies), TREB (high frequencies), CENTER*

REAR*

, FAD (front-rear speaker balance), BAL (left-
right speaker balance), and SUB-W (subwoofer level).

This is displayed only if DSP/EQ is connected.

This is displayed only if Digital Sound Processor is
connected.
2. Turn the [AUDIO CONTROL] button to the left or
right
It controls levels and adjust the sound to your
preference.
•When Tone Control feature is off, adjustment of BASS,
MID, and TREB will be skipped.
•When an optional DSP/EQ unit is connected, the mode
switches from Volume
→
DSP level adjustment
→
EQ level
adjustment. BASS, MID, TREB, FADER, BAL, may be
skipped, and it depends on the type of DSP/EQ and its
situation.
•Adjustment of BASS, MID, and TREB is set by each mode
such as CD, tuner.
