Selecting settings for 2, 4 or 6-channel audio mode
Depending on the driver for the audio mode and from the operating system used, you can configure
the audio properties, e.g. with Windows 2000 under
Start - Settings - Control Panel - Sounds and
Multimedia
.

Hard disk connection
An ultra ATA/66 or ultra ATA/100 hard disk must be connected with a cable especially designed for
the ultra ATA/66 or ultra ATA/100 mode.

Connect the end of the cable marked with blue to the mainboard.
A serial ATA/150 hard disk must be connected with a serial ATA cable.

Connect the cable to the hard disk and to the connector on the mainboard.
If you have connected one or two hard disks to a serial ATA (one hard disk is possible per serial
ATA connection), you must configure the respective settings in the
BIOS Setup
.
BIOS supports a maximum of four IDE/ATA drives. In some new operating systems two additional
drives can be used, but not as boot drives.
Depending on the settings in BIOS the following configurations are possible:
