server with the Intel® IPF microprocessor family Itanium® 2
operating in Symmetrical Multiprocessing mode. With the
PRIMERGY RXI600 Fujitsu Siemens Computers rounds up
its product portfolio with a 64-bit 4-way rack server and
offers a complete product line spectrum to the market.
Equipped with two Intel® Itanium® 2 processors for symmetrical
multiprocessing, the PRIMERGY RXI300 is an ideal entry-level
system for 64-bit only environments. In addition, the PRIMERGY
RXI300 offers performance that goes beyond the limits of 32-bit
architectures with Microsoft Windows 2003 IPF server or Linux 64-
bit operating systems.

Dual-Core 7100N series technology in a 3 U rack package
and up to 6 hot-plug Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) hard disks.
The PRIMECENTER SME rack is the basis for mounting
rack configurations with all Fujitsu Siemens Computers
products, such as servers, operating devices and storage
systems. Based on the industry standards DIN 41494 and
IEC
297,
the
PRIMECENTER
SME
rack
can
also
accommodate other products on the market that comply with
these standards.
