Viewing and Recording the Live Feed
Launching the Software

Turn on the camera and computer.

Double-click “SX801 Video Manager.exe” to launch the software.
A login dialog will be displayed.

Enter a user name, password, and client IP address.
The default IP address is “192.168.1.10”.

First launch
: Enter a new user name and password as desired.
Subsequent launches
: Enter the existing user name and pass-
word.

• Choose a password 8 to 15 characters long. Take all steps necessary to protect the password.
• After 10 failed attempts, password entry will lock. The camera must then be re-initialized in stand-alone mode as de-
scribed below.
Note that this deletes all existing accounts.

Turn the camera off .

Select stand-alone mode using the DIP switches on the rear control panel (page 7).

Turn the camera on.

Press and hold the
OK

MENU
button on the rear control panel for 3 seconds to display the menus.

Select
IP ADDRESS SETTINGS RESET
in the setup menu.
F
Turn the camera off and return to Step 3 of “Connecting to a Computer” (page 8).
