The self-timer lamp will begin to blink approximately
seven seconds after being illuminated, and the
shutter will be released approximately three seconds
after that.
Subsequent self-timer exposures will be taken at
intervals of between three to six seconds when two
or three consecutive self-timer exposures have been
set.

Do not press the shutter release button while
standing in front of the camera. This may cause a
focusing error or underexposure.

If you want to cancel the self-timer mode, press
the
r
button again to extinguish the sign
r
in
Liquid Crystal Display.

The self-timer mode will be automatically
canceled after the exposure has been taken and
when the power is switched off.
