Chapter 3  Names and Functions of Parts

Ultrasonic Endoscope

3.1 

The EB-530US consists of the following parts.

LG flexible portion

Contains light guide and cables.

Suction button

Allows suction through forceps outlet in distal end 

of Ultrasonic Endoscope.

Ventilation connector

Connects to the airtight tester or ventilation adapter.

Control portion

Provides a grip for holding the Ultrasonic Endoscope. 

 

Also contains parts for operating the Ultrasonic Endoscope.
