Login Setup
This screen allows you to set the authentication
method and to select the feature to be restricted.
No Login
No authentication feature is used on the
machine.
Local Machine Access
Local Machine Access authenticates users according to the user information regis-
tered in the machine.
A print job sent from a computer can be received by the machine only when the
authentication information added with the printer driver and the authentication infor-
mation registered in the machine match.

Copy Service
Copy operations from the Control Panel are restricted.
Scan Service
Scan operations (saved in mailbox) on the machine are
restricted.
Print Service
Print requests from a network computer are restricted.
To use the authentication feature, authentication information
such as UserID and password must be registered beforehand
with the printer driver. Any incoming print job is deleted unless
it is successfully authenticated.
Important •
You can configure whether to print or cancel jobs without
authentication information.
For the setting method, refer to "Private Charge Print Set-
tings" (P.255).
