When [Yes] is selected, the settings configured in "System Administrator Password"
(P.250) and the password settings configured in "Password" (P.254) take effect.
When [No] is selected, a password is not required to operate the machine even if a
password is set with the features described above.
The factory default value is [No].
Important •
When accessing the machine from outside via CentreWare Internet Services, etc., a pass-
word must be entered regardless of password authentication settings.

The System Administrator password is used also to change settings with CentreWare Inter-
net Services.

Private Charge Print Settings
This feature allows you to set how to process the
print jobs received via Local Machine Access.
Note

To execute Private Charge Print,
[Local Machine Access] must be enabled with
[Login Setup].

] is set, Confidential Print
jobs instructed from the printer driver are ignored.

When saving the print jobs in Private Charge Print, enter
the UserID up to 32 single-byte characters. If the UserID
set with the printer driver contains more than 32 single-
byte characters, the print job is canceled and is not saved
in Private Charge Print.

Print
The received jobs are saved in the private charge print.
Print job
All incoming jobs are printed. Whether the job is saved with
Secure Print or printed normally depends on the print instruc-
tion settings on the client side.
Job without User ID
Set how to handle jobs without UserID for authentication.

If you set [Non-account Print] to [Enable] with [Properties]
>[Security]>[Authentication] in CentreWare Internet Ser-
vices, this item is set to [Print]. When this item is set to
[Cancel Job], [Non-account Print] is deselected in Centre-
Ware Internet Services.

Authentication mode can also be set with CentreWare
Internet Services.

Print job
All jobs without authentication attribute will be printed.
Cancel Job
All jobs without authentication attribute will be deleted.
