ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Make sure you are assembling your fountain on a level surface like a concrete slab or pea gravel.
2. This fountain will need to be installed on a surface capable of holding a minimum of 3214 pounds in
approximately a 45 square foot area.
3. Make sure that all components are centered and leveled before installing the next component.
4. Feed the pump cord through the hole in the basin (FGB-2030) leaving enough cord length inside basin
to work with the pump (approx 3-4 feet).
5. Wrap a piece of putty around both pump cords where you will be placing the stopper. (fig A)
6. Fit both cords into the stopper.
7. Place a piece of putty inside the length of the slit in the stopper. (fig B)
8. Wrap putty around outside of stopper ensuring that the slit and the cord hole are covered and
sealed.
9. Press stopper firmly into the hole of basin.
10. Place the pump house (FT-184F) in the center of the basin. For best results, use a tape measure
when centering the pump cover.
11. Place the pump inside the pump cover.
12. Place the large pedestal (FT-184E) on top of the pump cover.
13. Place a hose clamp over the 5/8” non-kink tubing end of each of the 50” tubing
assemblies.
a. Note – the other hose clamp may be placed on the tubing prior to installation as a
flow restrictor if necessary.
14. Place one 5/8” end of the each of the tubing assemblies over each of the copper pipes
protruding from the bottom of the large bowl (FT-184D).
15. Feed the ¾” ends of the tubing assemblies down through the large and base pedestals.
16. Place the large bowl on top of the large pedestal.
17. Connect the ¾” clear vinyl tubing ends to the water outlets of the pumps.
18. Cover the pump cover opening with the pump cover door (FT-184G)
19. Place a hose clamp over each end of the 5/8” non-kink tubing.
20. Attach one end to one of the copper pipes protruding up from the large bowl and tighten the hose clamp.
a. The open pipe will be used to power the flow from the large bowl.
21. Feed the other end of the non-kink tubing up through the small pedestal.
22. Place the small pedestal (FT-184C) inside the large bowl ensuring that it is level and centered.
23. Place that end of the tubing over the copper pipe protruding from the bottom of the small bowl (FT-184B).
24. Attach and tighten the hose clamp to the bottom of the small bowl.
25. Place the finial (FT-184A) in the small bowl by lowering the hole of the finial onto the copper pipe protruding up
from the bowl.
26. Insert the basin plug into the side wall of the large basin.
27. Fill the basin with approximately 130 gallons of water.
28. Place the copings (FT-184H & FT-184I) around the basin working all six of them in at the same time to ensure
they will all fit.
a. Fitting them one at a time will prevent the last one from fitting properly.
b. One of the copings (Ft-184I) is equipped with a channel for the pump cord to run through.
