Troubleshooting
There is coolant residue on the torch body after a torch body changeover
Cause:
The hosepack coolant stop is worn
Remedy:
Change the hosepack coolant stop
Cause:
The torch body coolant stop is worn
Remedy:
Change the torch body coolant stop
Cause:
The speed of the robot while picking up and depositing the torch body is too
high
Remedy:
Reduce the speed of the robot while picking up and depositing the torch body
Cause:
Robot in incorrect position when changing the torch body
Remedy:
Program the robot as per the Operating Instructions
Cause:
Pressure in the cooling circuit when changing the torch body
Remedy:
Ensure that the cooling circuit is depressurized when changing the torch body
Torch body coupling does not open
Cause:
Compressed air supply of the torch body coupling is too low
Remedy:
Ensure compressed air supply according to the specifications in the Operat

ing Instructions
Cause:
Solenoid valve defective
Remedy:
Replace solenoid valve
Cause:
Pneumatic or electrical control lines faulty
Remedy:
Replace faulty control lines
Cause:
Torch body coupling faulty/damaged
Remedy:
Unlock the torch body coupling by hand and send it to the manufacturer for
servicing
