The “PickUp” wheel brake prevents the “PickUp trolley” from accidentally rolling - or being rolled - out of position.
IMPORTANT!
The brakes of the swifel casters merely serve to keep the trolley stationary on a plane surface.
WARNING!
Work that is carried out incorrectly can cause serious injury and damage. The wheel brake
option must only be installed by trained and qualified personnel. Pay particular attention to the "Safety
rules" chapter in all operating instructions, including these instructions, for system components.
Existing swivel casters on underside of trolley
Take the wirefeeder out of the wirefeeder fixt. a. put it in a safe
place
Dismount the power source (and - if mounted - the cooling unit)
from the trolley
Dismount the swivel casters by undoing the four bolted connec-
tions on each caster
Mounting swivel casters with wheel-brake
Mount the “swivel casters with wheel-brake”:

Make the bolted connections (1), in each case using a hexa-
gonal bolt, a serrated lock washer and an ordinary washer
-
Make the bolted connections (2), in each case using a hexa-
gonal bolt, a washer and a self-locking nut
