Network devices that do not support WPA can establish only non-
encrypted wireless connections to the FRITZ!Box. You should avoid
using such devices if at all possible.

Requirements
Wireless LAN must be enabled in the FRITZ!Box. Wireless LAN is
enabled when the “WLAN” LED is lit up.
Instructions: Entering the Network Key Manually
1.
Start the wireless LAN software on your wireless device.
2.
Search for wireless networks in the environment (see the docu
mentation of your wireless device) and select the wireless
network of the FRITZ!Box.
The preconfigured name of the FRITZ!Box’s wireless network is
composed of “FRITZ!Box 6590 Cable” and two random letters
(for instance, “FRITZ!Box 6590 Cable XY”), and is printed on the
type label on the bottom.

Click “Connect”.

Enter the network key of the FRITZ!Box. The network key is
printed on the bottom of the FRITZ!Box;
