Changing the FRITZ!Box Password
Overview
Within the FRITZ!Box home network you can log in with the FRITZ!Box
using a FRITZ!Box password without a username. For the first lo-gin
with the FRITZ!Box, use the FRITZ!Box password preset for your
FRITZ!Box. The preconfigured FRITZ!Box password is printed on the
“FRITZ! Notes” service card and on the type label on the bottom of
the
housing of your FRITZ!Box. You can change the preconfigured
FRITZ!Box password.
We recommend configuring the “Forgot Password” push service;
. When you have forgotten a password, the FRITZ!Box sends
an access link to the email address you specified. Using this link you
can set a new password.

• You have not yet changed the username automatically created for
the FRITZ!Box password;

Instructions: Changing the FRITZ!Box Password
1.
Open the FRITZ!Box user interface. In the browser, enter the ad-
dress

Log on with the FRITZ!Box password.

Click on the menu with the three dots in the header of the
FRITZ!Box user interface:

Click on “Change Password” in the menu.
