Checking the WLAN Access Point
The FRITZ!WLAN USB Stick and the WLAN access point cannot
exchange any data with each other.
The WLAN access point is not connected correctly or not
switched on.
Check whether the WLAN access point is connected correctly
and make sure that the device and the WLAN function are
switched on.
Releasing Resources in the Network for Sharing
Two or more devices are connected wirelessly to form a net-
work. However, it is not possible to access folders or other
resources in the network, for instance drives or printers.
The resources have not been released for sharing.
Release the resources for network sharing. Instructions are
provided in the Online Help of your operating system.
Checking the Network Key and Enabling DHCP
“Limited connectivity” error message: You computer recog-
nizes the network and the wireless access point, but cannot
access the Internet or the network.
When the wireless LAN connection was established an incor-
rect wireless LAN key was entered, or the computer did not
obtain an IP address from Windows.
Check to make sure that you entered the correct network key.
The preconfigured network key is located on the underside of
your FRITZ!Box.
