b) Baking plate with 2 zones
:
The baking plate is divided in two zones, a grill zone (meat) and a teppanyaki zone (fish, vegetables,
omelets, pancakes ...)
c) Baking plate with high-quality 3-layer non-stick coating
:
The baking /grilling residues are easy to remove and the plate cleans easily.
In order to maintain the non-stick coating, please bare following in mind:

Before each first use, rub the baking plate with some oil.

cut with a knife or any other sharp object on the plate

NEVER
use sharp objects to place, move or turn the food.

NEVER
put metal pots or pans on the plate.
d) Anti splash windscreen:
When using the anti splash windscreen you can use the appliance in- (anti splash) and outside
(windscreen)
e) Cooking grease/fluids collector:
The baking plate has an integrated drainage (at the front) for excess of cooking grease/fluids, which
are then collected in the collector.
5. START TO BAKE/GRILL
a) First check if the appliance is assembled correctly (see point 3).
b) Completely unroll the power cord, and plug in the appliance in a 230 V socket.
c) Turn the thermostat knob to the desired position:
Position 1-2: low temperature, keep warm
Position 3-4: medium temperature, cook
Position 5-6: high temperature, sear, cook fast, seal
The control light lightens up and turns off when the desired temperature is reached. If you would like to
seal meat quickly, turn on the Turbo Zone (+300 watt extra). This function can be turned off
whe
NEVER
needed.
ATTENTION
: the baking plate and the anti splash windscreen will now get hot. Only touch the handles
and the control panel
ATTENTION
: at first use it is possible the appliance produces some smell or some smoke. This is
normal.
d) Now put the desired food on the plate.
ATTENTION:
do not use frozen food! Always defrost it first.
ATTENTION
: Do not use sharp utensils to turn or (re)move the food as they could damage the non-
stick coating of the plate.
ATTENTION
: regularly check the content of the cooking grease/fluids collector to make sure it doesn’t
run over.
e) After use pull out the plug and switch off the appliance and turn the thermostat knob on the 0
position. Also turn off the Turbo Zone.
f) Let the appliance cool off entirely before moving it, removing the baking plate or cleaning it.
g) Clean the appliance as explained in point 5: Cleaning and maintenance.
h) Store the appliance in a dry, frost-free place.
