Operation and handling of the
LWL-RS422
•
Set up the devices at the dedicated places.
•
Take care of the pinning of the RS422 links (see Fig. b.1 or housing)
while connecting the cables and be aware the system to be
unpowered during connecting the cables.
•
Connect the optical fiber (Out => In; In => Out). Only use
62,5/125µm multimode fibers.
•
Turn on all devices (power push button, see Fig. a.1); the order does
not matter
•
The transmission starts automatically after a short initialisation.
