Using the Dictionary
Finding Letters in Words
The asterisk key (

) is similar to the question
mark key in that it finds the matches of unknown
words. However, it stands for any number of
letters in a word. Try this example.
1. Type “ver
✽
os
✽
” at “ENTER a word in
Spanish.”
To type an asterisk, hold
SHIFT
and press
? *
.
2. Press
ENTER
.
3. Highlight the word you want.
4. Press
ENTER
to view its definition.
5. Press
CLEAR
when done.

Accenting Letters
At Entry screens, you can accent letters by
typing the letter and then pressing
or
repeatedly until the correct accent ap-
pears. NOTE: You do not need to type ac-
cents when you are searching a menu.
