This section of the manual contains miscellaneous information which you may find
useful.
FUNCTION KEY GUIDE

In dictionary mode, REV browses back to the previous dictionary entry.
In thesaurus mode, REV browses back through synonym groups.

In dictionary mode, FWD browses forward to the next dictionary entry.
In thesaurus mode, FWD browses forward through synonym groups.
: Displays the Grammar Guide Menu.

Displays a context sensitive help screen. General operating instruc-
tions are available at the “Type in...” screen. Specific help is available
at other modes of operation.

Displays the games menu.

Backs you through screens you’ve viewed. Used as a backspace key
when you are typing in a word. In most cases “BACK” returns you to

the previous screen. “BACK” also turns off the “PICK” highlight and
gets you out of the “HELP” screen.

Used to activate commands. Activates “pick” mode. Selects “pick”
word.

Returns you to the “Type in...” prompt from any screen. Erases an en-
tire word from the “Type in...” screen.

Presents the Search Definitions and Setup commands or game menu
if in games.
Arrow keys: When you are typing in a word, pressing
will erase one character
at a time. The “RIGHT ARROW” key may be used to view text which
has scrolled off of the screen. You may use

from one command heading to another within a menu. The up and
down arrow keys scroll information up and down a line. Pressing shift
and down arrow scrolls the information down one page, while pressing
shift and up arrow scrolls the information up one page.
