20. Maintenance information for MIRANIT-S
Soap cleaners with a neutral pH-value are sufficient for cleaning and care. Apply the
cleaner with a soft, clean cloth, leave to soak briefly and then rinse with a large
volume of water.
Caution!
The following must
not
be used:
• Cleaning agents with an abrasive effect
• Cleaning sponges / cleaning cloths with an abrasive effect
• Steel wool or other hard objects
• Solvents

Important!
Possible minor damage to the surface, e.g. small scratches, can be directly polished
out. A repair kit is available for larger damaged areas. The surface is polished with
Type 1000 grinding paper after application and drying of the repair material.
21. Cleaning the shower head faceplate
21.1
Release the screw using an Allen key.
21.2
With a screwdriver, carefully lever out the spray faceplate.
21.3
Clean the shower head faceplate.

Reassemble in reverse order.
22. Replacing the filters

Remove the shower panel (see

Unscrew the locking screws (a) on the water volume regulators.

Note the installation position of the filters.

Remove the solenoid valve cartridge (see

Use flat-nosed pliers to remove the filter (c).

Replace the filter.

Note the installation position. The crosspiece of the filter may not be on top of the
flow hole.
