5.6 Analogue outputs
The PQM 1588 has 2 analogue outputs. Their standard output signals can be selected:
· 0-20 mA
· 0-10V
PLEASE NOTE!
No external voltage sources may be connected to the analogue outputs, as they
themselves supply the power required for their output signals.

The DIP switches 8 and 7 can be set to select the outputs as current or voltage signals.

As shown in Figure 6, no external sources of current or voltage are needed for the output signals.
The analogue signals are calibrated via Modbus TCP. Register addresses are obtained from the
Modbus table for the PQM 1588, which can be downloaded as a PDF file from the PQM 1588
instrument website at Help / Downloads.
