In the main menu select

to configure the following settings:
• Country, to set correct TV standards (see Tab.1 e 2 pages 29-31)
• Output channel: output channel (see Tab.1 page 29) of your AV signal
• Output level: OFF, 60÷90dB, ALC
• Aspect ratio: AUTO, 4:3, 16:9
• COFDM parameters: advanced settings
o Constellation: QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM
o FEC:1/2, 2/3, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8
o Guard interval: 1/32, 1/16, 1/8, 1/4
• QAM modulation advanced settings
o Constellation: 16QAM, 32QAM, 64QAM,128QAM, 256QAM
o Symbol Rate: 1000, ..., 7000
• TS Parameters: for advanced settings such as LCN and Service name:
o LCN: 1÷1000 (1000=LCN OFF)
o Service Name: see par.4.2.1
o Service ID, NetID, ONID, TSID, PDSD: see par.4.2.2
In the main menu select
MEASURES
to check the firmware
VERSION
installed in the unit.
4.2.1 SERVICE NAME SETTINGS
To assign a name to the modulated program you can use the entries
SSTR
and
Sind
by typing the onboard
keys.
The entry
SSTR
assigns to the program name one of the set names (See Table 2, page 33).
The entry
Sind
appends to the program name an index from 1 to 99. Number 0 corresponds to an empty
string.
Example 1:
SSTR
= 1
Sind
= 0 The assigned program name is Cinema.
Example 2:
SSTR
= 2
Sind
= 4 The assigned program name Sport4
Name your own program (only with TPE)
In the TPE menu, select
Output – TS Param (LCN,ID)

Service Name
to check the name assigned
to your modulated AV signal.
To delete the service name, select
Service Name clear
.
• To set a service name to the program:
1. Select the menu
Service Name edit
2. Use < > arrows to select a character.
3. Press V and confirm
Add
to add the character to the service name.
4. Press X to return to the previous menu
5. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 to add another character
6. Repeat steps 2, 3 and 4 to add further characters
7. Once added all letters/numbers that form the service name, go back to the previous menu with X and
check the name on
Service Name
