Operation with USB memory stick
A USB memory stick (maximum 32 GB, formatted to FAT32 in Windows) can be used
for the following tasks:
– Importing a configuration via a “config.txt” file
– Firmware update via a “Tixi.Gate_FW.tar.gz” file
– Debug recordings via a “debtrace.txt” file
– Archiving of log data via the “WriteFile” command.
Use a USB stick with a short overall length, which has sufficient space in the FP S-EN-
Guard when the cover is closed.
Inserting the USB memory stick
Disconnect FP S-ENGuard from the power supply.
Check on the FP S-ENGuard: The “Power” LED is OFF.
Open the cover (see Page 18).
Insert the USB memory stick formatted to FAT32 (max. 32 GB)
into one of the USB ports.
Close the cover. The hinge lock must snap into place.
Re-establish the power supply.
After restarting the device, the USB memory stick is automati-
cally detected.
