Increased
tipping safety
7.1 Driving up inclines and down slopes
The scooter will slow down to a safe reduced speed to protect
the motor if in overload/ over heated conditions.
Please switch off and allow the motor to cool down before
continuing your journey.
You may need to choose an alternative more suitable route if
overload trip re-occurs.
Climb angle examples:
a 1 metre long ramp should not be higher than. 18 cm
a 2 metre long ramp should not be higher than. 36 cm
• Avoid driving across an incline
(always try to drive in the direction
of the incline / decline).
There is an increased
danger of tipping
when climbing or descending gradients if:
• the
scooter
is loaded at the back
and additionally the seat has been
adjusted to its rear position.
You can achieve increased
tipping safety
if:
• you adjust the seat in a more forward
position.
• you lean your upper body slightly
forwards (see sketch).
