In current versions of the
FortiSwitch, the ACT light is always
off. Future functionality will use
this light to indicate state and
activity of the external USB card.

management card.

This is the
standby
management
card.
MC green
All
installed
management
cards up and running.
yellow
One or both
management
cards are not up
and running.
In a system with only one
management card the MC light
indicates the state of that card.
FC
green All fabric cards are running
normally.
yellow
One or more
fabric cards are
not running
normally.
If the management card's FC light
is yellow, check the LEDs on the
individual fabric cards to identify
the source of the problem.
LC
green All line cards are running
normally.
yellow
One or more line
cards are not
running normally.
If the management card's LC light
is yellow, check the LEDs on the
individual line cards to identify the
source of the problem.
PWR
green All power supplies
powered and running
normally.
yellow
One or more
power supplies
not running
normally.
If the management card's PWR
