Introduction
5.1
MICROpod overview
FSL’s versatile and powerful MICROpod combines up to 2 GNSS receivers for GNSS
navigation and positioning applications. The unit’s robust and waterproof enclosure is
perfect for operating in harsh environments to allow access to all ports and functionality of
NovAtel’s GNSS cards.
The MICROpod can be upgraded with an internal processor for bespoke applications and
enhanced features such as CANBUS communication.
5.2
MICROpod Models
There are six models in the MICROpod family:
MICROpod-GNS
provide an internal GNSS receiver.
MICROpod-GNS-HDG
provides two internal GNSS receivers and capable of providing
Heading data.
MICROpod
provides one internal GNSS receiver with a processor/
MICROpod-HDG
provides two internal GNSS receivers with a processor. Capable of
providing Heading data.
MICROpod-ETH
provides an additional Ethernet connection to the GNSS receiver
and processor.
MICROpod-GNS-ETH
provides an additional Ethernet connection to the GNSS
receiver
