3.2 initial commissioning
1. Insert the four AA batteries into the battery box.
Make sure that the polarity of the batteries in the battery box is correct.
2. Insert the plug of the battery box into the socket at the bottom of the keypad.
3. Open the lock with the factory code 1234 and then confirm with the # key.
Turn the door handle clockwise to the right within 5 seconds and open the door.
4. Unplug the battery box from the keypad and remove the batteries from the battery box.
5. Now open the battery compartment on the inside of the door and insert the four batteries
into the battery compartment. Make sure that the polarity of the batteries is correct.
Then close the battery compartment again.
6. Your cabinet is now ready for use. Now change the factory code to your private numerical
code. Proceed as described in section 3.4 „Changing the numerical code“.
3.3 inserting the shelf
The safe is equipped with an adjustable shelf. The shelf rests on four shelf supports.
To insert the shelf, the four shelf supports must be hooked into the nothces on the side wall.
iMPoRtant:
The short leg of the shelf support must be pushed into the side wall notch.
The shelf is then placed on the long leg of the shelf supports.
3.4 operating instructions for the electronic lock
opening the door
Enter the numerical code (1 - 8 digits) and then confirm with the # key. Turn the door
handle clockwise to the right within 5 seconds and open the door. If the code is entered
correctly, the yellow LED flashes and a double beep is heard, then the green LED lights up.
Closing the door
Push the door firmly closed and turn the door handle anticlockwise to the left. The lock locks
automatically. Check with the door handle that the lock is properly locked. It must not be
possible to turn the door handle when it is locked.
Changing the numerical code

When changing or checking the numerical code, the door must always be open and the
locking bolts must be extended!
•
Press the green reset button on the bottom of the door (Fig. 2). You will hear two beeps
and the yellow LED will light up.
• Enter your new 1-8 digit numerical code and confirm by pressing the * key. You will hear
two beeps and the yellow LED will go out.
•
with the door open, check whether the new numerical code works!
Do not close the door until you are sure that the new numerical code works properly.
Battery status
•
Batteries are okay: When the entry code is entered, the green LED on the keypad lights
up.
•
Batteries low: When the entry code is entered, the yellow LED on the keypad lights up.
Replace the four batteries immediately.
If the batteries are already so low that the door can no longer be opened, you can use the
battery box to open the door in an emergency. Proceed as described in 3.2
„Initial commissioning“ (use valid code).
