With the hood protector in position, locate the two pockets
indicated in the illustration. Directly in front of these, at the
hood edge, place a small abrasion pad on the underside of the
hood. The abrasion pad is oriented with the long edge aligned
with the edge of the hood and centered under the pocket.

extérieures. Directement en dessous de ces derniers, au bord
du capot, placez un petit tampon abrasif sur le dessous du

Loosen the screws in the hood edge clips enough to remove
the “L” brackets from the hood edge. Remove the hood
protector.
Desserrez les vis dans les bords du capot suffisamment pour
retirer les supports "L" du bord du capot. Retirez le capot
protecteur.

Place a mounting pedestal at the edge of the hood where the
abrasion pad is and slide a bracket over each, as illustrated.
Placez un socle de montage au bord de la hotte où se trouve
le bloc d'abrasion et faites glisser un support sur chacun,
comme illustré.

Assemble a Torx head screw and shoulder washer as
illustrated and thread a screw through the hood protector and
into both of the mounting pedestals which were temporarily
attached in step 8. Note the pedestals are not permanently
fastened so the screw will only turn in part way.
Assemblez une vis à tête Torx et une épaule comme illustré et
enfilez une vis à travers le capot et dans les deux piédestaux
de montage qui ont été fixés temporairement à l'étape 8.

10. Center the hood protector on the hood by moving the mounting
pedestals/brackets as required. Take care to ensure the
brackets and mounting pedestals stay square to the hood
edge. Once the protector has been centered, re-
attach the “L”
brackets and again, tighten the clip assemblies.
Centrez le capot sur le capot en déplaçant les socles /
supports de montage au besoin. Veillez à ce que les supports
et les piédestaux de montage restent sur le bord de la hotte.
Une fois que le protecteur a été centré, rebranchez les
supports "L" et encore, serrez les ensembles de clips.
11. Once hood protector is centered, take a felt marker (a fine
point Sharpie works best) and insert it into the hole in each of
the remaining
“pockets” of the hood protector. Keeping the
marker perpendicular to the hood surface, mark the hood
surface with a dot.
***NOTE- IF YOUR HOOD HAS PAINT
PROTECTION FILM, A PERMANENT MARKER MAY STAIN
THE FILM. USE A DRY-ERASE MARKER OR A GREASE
PENCIL.***
Prenez un marqueur de feutre (un point fin Sharpie fonctionne
mieux) et insérez-le dans le trou dans chacune des "poches"
dans le protecteur de capot. Garder le repère perpendiculaire
à la surface de la poche, marquer la surface du capot avec un
point. ***REMARQUE - SI VOTRE CAPUCHON A UN FILM
DE PROTECTION DE PEINTURE, UN MARQUEUR
PERMANENT PEUT MANQUER LE FILM. UTILISEZ UN
MARQUEUR D'EFFACEMENT SEC OU UN LENTILLE A
GRAISSE.***
