Thermometer Overview

The product is a durable, data collecting, environmental thermometer. The water

resistant plastic housing incorporates a cover and rubber gaskets. There are two

temperature probes with 3 meters of cable that capture data independently of one

another. The digital thermometer collects and stores current day, plus six days of

MAX/MIN data from each sensor. Smart circuitry collects data regardless if the

LCD display is on or off. Collected data is easily and clearly displayed on the large
LCD panel in either ˚F or ˚C.

How to use the thermometer

1.

Install AA batteries:

Battery compartment is located on the front side. When

closing the compartment, make sure gasket is properly seated to prevent

moisture from entering.

2.

Choose ˚F or ˚C:

Press the ˚F/˚C button. Each press switches between ˚F or

˚C.

3.

Install thermometer:

Determine where to place the thermometer (it can be

used indoors or outdoors). Use the 2 mounting holes to hang thermometer

onto a surface.

4.

Placing the Probes:

Each sensor has approximately 3 meters of cable. Extend

the cables and place the probes where you would like to take the readings. For

example, one probe could be in the ground soil while the other probe is in the

air.

5.

 Reset the thermometer

: Press the “Reset” button to begin a new collection

sequence.

6.

View the temperature reading:

Temperatures from each sensor are collected

for the current 24  hour period and up to six previous 24 hour periods. The

left and right sensors each have their own On/Off, MAX and MIN Buttons.

Pressing the “On/Off” button activates the LCD display. The first press of the

MAX or MIN  button will show the current reading (up to previous 24 hours).

With each subsequent press of the MAX or MIN button displays the previous

24 hour period temperatures. 24 hour periods are indicated as D1 (for day 1),

D2 (for day 2), etc... up to D6.

Special Notes to remember:

•  The LCD display will turn-off automatically within 10 minutes. The

thermometer is always collecting data even while the LCD display is on or off.

•  Only the six previous days of data are collected and stored.

•  Always keep the rubber gaskets in place when closing the battery compartment.

•  Close the cover whenever possible to protect the LCD display and operation

buttons.

•  If using the thermometer in very low temperatures, it is recommended to use

lithium AA batteries.
