Biocidal Product Regulation (EU 528/2012) Article 58 Information

This article contains timber treated with Celcure AC-500, incorporating biocidal products to give p

rotection against wood destroying insects & wood rotting fungi

Contains:

 Basic copper carbonate (Copper (II) carbonate – Copper (II) hydroxide (1:1)), Boric acid, Benzalkonium chloride.

Wear gloves when handling freshly treated wood. Avoid breathing dust when cutting treated or untreated wood. Dispose of off-cuts responsibly – do not burn.

Place the window from the outside so that the lip sits on the bottom board as shown.

Place the plastic strips 

on the outer side and bottom of each window so that one side 

butts up against the cladding. 

Fix the plastic strips a using 2 x security screws for each strip.  Secure top of each window with 
1 x security screw.

Fix the 675mm timber strip vertically between the two window sheets so that it overlaps both 
sides. Fix this to the framework using 2 x security screws.

Q

Place the barge boards against the ends of the building so that they are flush with 
the overhang of the roof and in line with the top. Fix each in place using 3x40mm 
screws.

Place the finial over the join, at the front of the shed, making sure it is centred. 
Secure in place using 2x30mm screws.

not be backed out.

Maintenance.

Regularly check all fixings are secure and the roofing felt has no holes or tears.

Sand off any rough/sharp edges.

You may need to 

cut the plastic 

strips to size using 

a pair of scissors

Position the staple on the door end and in line with the centre batten on the reverse of the door. 
Make sure that the staple is in line with the framing behind and fix it in place using 2 x 25mm 
screws.

Before fixing the Hasp to the door make sure that it is in line with the framing on the reverse of 
the door and that it closes over the Staple. Fix this in place using 3 x 25mm screws.

Fix a Z’ bracket to each end of the 2275mm battens using 2 x 25mm screws for each. 

Place the battens so that they bridge the door end and back end of the shed together and 
position each so that the top one is offset from the apex 60mm and the second, offset 370mm 
from the first as shown.

Fix the battens to the end panel’s framework using another 25mm screw to fix the Z’ bracket 
down.

Place the sheets so that they are overlapping and are in line with the front and end panels. The 
top of each sheet should be in line with the uppermost rafter you have previously fixed with the Z’ 
brackets. 
Fix the roof sheets in place using 28 x 50mm screws and top hats

Place and overlap the verges at the apex. Position them equally overlapping from front to back.

Fix each Verge in place using 2 x 50mm screws and top hats at each side. Make sure that the screws locate 
into the rafters and end panels.

12 x 50mm screws.
