E-scooter safe parking
Once you have stopped the E-scooter, turn it off, get off it and press the kickstand down to support the
E-scooter. The kickstand is located on the left-hand side of the E-scooter below the foot board (deck).
Before you ride again, push the side stand back up so that it is parallel to the foot board.
Park your scooter on a flat and stable surface and always use the kickstand.
If your only option is to park the scooter on a slope, make sure it isn’t too steep (less than 10°).
Park the scooter with the kickstand facing uphill to prevent the scooter from falling over.
Never park the scooter facing forwards down the slope. The kickstand could close and cause the scooter
to fall over.
Once the scooter is parked on its kickstand, check the stability of the scooter to prevent it from falling over
(caused by slipping, wind or a slight bump).
Don’t park the scooter where people walk. Try to park it along a wall or in the authorized area, if it is not
possible to park it on the pedestrian zone.
Always park the scooter on a flat surface whenever you can.
Cleaning and Storage
Use a soft, wet cloth to wipe the mainframe clean. Hard to remove dirt can be scrubbed with a toothbrush
and toothpaste, then cleaned with a soft, wet cloth. Scratches on plastic parts can be polished with fine
grit abrasive paper. Do not wash your e-scooter with alcohol, gasoline, acetone, or other corrosive/volatile
solvents. These substances may damage the appearance and internal structure of your e-scooter. Do not
wash your e-scooter with a power washer or hose. Make sure the e-scooter is powered OFF, the charging
cable is unplugged, and the rubber cap on the charge port is tightly sealed before cleaning; otherwise you
may damage the electronic components. Store your e-scooter in a cool, dry place. Do not store it outdoors
for extended periods of time. Exposure to sunlight and temperature extremes (both hot and cold) will
accelerate the aging process of the plastic components and may reduce battery life.
