Important Safety Instructions

       SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS.

IMPORTANT! READ CAREFULLY AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE!

Read all the instructions carefully and use the heater only as directed in the manual. Usage of the

heater in other ways may cause electrical shock, fire, or damage to persons or property.

This heater is hot when in use. Do not let bare skin touch hot surfaces. Always wait until the heater has

cooled to move the unit.

Make sure combustible materials, such as furniture, pillows, bedding, papers, cloths, and curtains, are

at least 3’ (0.9 m) away from all sides of the heater. Do not block the rear grille (air inlet) with walls,

drapes, or similar items.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory,

or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision

or instruction regarding use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should

be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance.

Always unplug heater when not in use.

Keep pets away from heater to avoid injury.

DO NOT operate the heater with a damaged power cord or if the heater has been dropped,

damaged, or has malfunctioned. Return the heater to an authorized service facility for inspection,

electrical or mechanical adjustment, or repair.

DO NOT use heater outdoors.

DO NOT use heater in any area where there is standing water. Do not locate heater where it may

fall into a bathtub, pool, or other water container.

DO NOT run power cord under carpeting. Do not cover cord with throw rugs, runners, or similar coverings.

Make sure the cord is kept away from highly traveled areas so that it will not be tripped over.

To disconnect the heater, turn controls to OFF, then remove the plug from the outlet.

Connect power cord to properly polarized electrical outlets only.

DO NOT allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening in the heater as this may

cause electric shock, fire, or damage to the heater.

To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intake or exhaust in any manner. Do not use on soft surfaces

like a bed, where openings may become blocked.

The heater has hot, arcing, or sparking pads inside. Do not use it in areas where gasoline, paint, or

flammable liquids are used or stored.

To prevent overload and blown fuses, do not plug in or use another appliance on the same

electrical circuit as the heater.

It is normal for the heater’s plug and cord to feel warm to the touch. A plug or cord that becomes

hot to the touch may be a result of a worn electrical outlet. Worn outlets should be replaced prior

to further use of the heater. Plugging the heater into a worn outlet may result in the power cord

overheating or fire.

Ensure the heater is placed on a stable, secure surface to avoid risk of tipping it over.

DO NOT use an extension cord or relocatable power tap (outlet/power strip). Always plug the

power cord directly into a wall outlet/receptacle.

Make sure the power cable has not been damaged in any way during transportation.

Make sure that no pieces of polystyrene or other packaging material have been left between

elements in the appliance. If necessary, use a vacuum cleaner to remove small pieces of

packaging.

WARNING!

To avoid possible electric shock, switch off the power supply at the main fuse

or circuit breaker box before installing, servicing, or cleaning.
