Getting started
Charging the battery
The FontaFit Tila is equipped with a rechargeable Lithium-Polymer battery. Fully charge the FontaFit
Tila prior to putting the device into operation for the fi rst time.
For this purpose, please use attached charger. Place the Tila in the
charger unit where the pins of the charger unit and the Tila are in
contact (fi g.1). Close the charger unit. The charging unit can be
connected with any USB-A power source or the USB-A port of a
Computer. Connect the USB cable to a USB power source; the battery
symbol will show up and the battery will be charged. The usual charging time is 1 hour.
The display will indicate, once the battery is fully charged.
Note:
Your Fontastic® Fitness watch Tila must be connected to your mobile phone via the app (FontaFit
Pro). Do not connect the fi tness watch and your smartphone directly via the Bluetooth® function of the
smartphone.
If the pairing has already been made directly via Bluetooth®, Tila must fi rst be deleted from the
Bluetooth® directory of connected devices on the smartphone.
Pairing must be carried out via the
FontaFit Pro App
as described below.
Installing the app
Download and install the “FontaFit Pro” app by scanning the QR code or

The Android app requires Android 4.4 or later.
The iOS app requires iOS 9 or later.

Connecting and using the app
1.
Activate Bluetooth® on your smartphone.
2.
Start the FontaFit Pro app and enter your data such as gender, weight etc.
3.
Switch on the Tila fi tness watch, select „ADD“ in the FontaFit Pro app and select the device
from the list.
Note:
• Only connect the device via the FontaFit Pro app and not via the Bluetooth® settings of the
smartphone.
• The personal data is used to calculate the calorie consumption and distance correctly.
After successful connection, the date, time and weather data are transferred from the smartphone to the
Fitness watch.
The following functions among others can be activated by the app:
• Notifi cations: Here you can set which notifi cations are displayed on the Fitness Watch.
• Camera: Here you can use the Fitness Watch Tila as shutter for the smartphone camera.
• All day heart rate: If enabled, the Tila automatically measures your heart rate every 30 minutes.
More information about steps, sleep, pulse, blood pressure, blood oxygen, sports activities and the route
recording is displayed by tapping on the respective menu in the app.
Display
FontaFit Tila has a touch-sensitive colour display. The display can show the date, time, connection
to the smartphone, steps, sleep duration, pulse, blood pressure, blood oxygen, weather, stopwatch,
notifi cations and much more.
Activating the submenu
By swiping the touch-sensitive display, you can access the menu items. By touching a desired menu
item, you activate the menu.
Note:
Use the button on the side to activate the display and return from any submenu to the clock
display interface.
Watch face setting
You can choose between di
ff
erent watch faces. Press the side button until the watch face appears
on the display, then press the display for about 3 seconds. Now you can choose
another watch face.
Tap on „Load more watch faces“ in the app, here you have the choice of hundreds of watch faces,
which you can install on the Tila. If you tap on a watch face, it will be uploaded to the watch.
Note:
Uploading pictures and watch faces to Tila will take about 90 seconds.
Steps
The step count, burned calories and distance are displayed.
Sleep
The determined sleep duration is displayed here if you wear the FontaFit Tila while sleeping.
Further data will be displayed in the app.
Note:
The sleep analysis is active from 20:00 to 10:00. It is not possible to record a sleep analysis
during the day.
Pulse
Touching this menu item starts the pulse measurement.
Blood pressure
Touching this menu item starts the blood pressure measurement.
Oxygen
Touching this menu item starts the measurement of the the blood oxygen saturation.
Please note:
Wear the bracelet approx. 1cm above your wrist bone and make sure it is close to
your skin. Please note that other factors can lead to measurement inaccuracies:
• Low blood circulation
• Tattoos
• Uneven or jerky movements
• Sunscreen and other lotions
• Dirty sensor
Note:
By using optoelectronic pulse measurement (photoplethysmography), in which your blood fl ow is
detected by green LEDs and photo diodes, FontaFit also displays values when the bracelet is worn too
loosely or not worn at all. For this reason, make sure that the wristband fi ts correctly when measuring
your heart rate.
This is not a medical device:
Data from the Step, pulse, blood pressure and oxygen saturation
functions are not intended to be used for medical purposes.
Training
Some activities are pre-programmed in the Sports menu. You can access the submenu by touching
the Sport menu item. There you can activate di
ff
erent sport activities by touching the corresponding
submenu items.
Dynamic heart rate measurement is activated in Sport mode. You can end ongoing activities by pressing
and holding the button. Confi rm your selection.
Note:
The recorded data is transferred to the FontaFit Pro app and can be viewed there.
Route recording
The route recorder is an indispensable tool for runners, athletes and tourists. You can use it to record the
routes you have covered with the GPS of your mobile phone in the FontaFit Pro App.
This function is started in the app, it requires activation of the GPS function of the smartphone.
Note:
Route recording is a function of the FontaFit Pro App and not the fi tness watch.
Notifi cations and incoming phone calls
Notifi cations or incoming calls are displayed directly on the Fontastic Fitness watch Tila.
In the messages menu you can display the latest notifi cations.
Note:
In the smartphone settings you have to enable the notifi cation of the Tila Fitness Watch in the
respective message app in advance.
Note:
You can only connect one Fitness watch via the app. The use of multiple Tila Fitness watches
with one smartphone at the same time is not supported.
Other menu items
If your Tila fi tness watch is connected to your smartphone and within reach, the following additional
menu items are available:
• Current weather and 4-day weather forecast
• Photo shutter
• Control music
• Use Tila as fl ashlight
• Disable vibration function
• Setting the backlight
