CONNECTION
Switch off the equipment and unplug it from the mains before connecting it.
Connect the equipment to the mains. Switch the equipment on.
CONTROLS AND FUNCTIONS
FRONT PANEL
1.-
ON/OFF
: tuner on/off switch.
2.-
1 to 10
: direct selection buttons for memorized frequencies.
3.- Information display.
4.-
DOWN, UP
: pressing these once moves to the previous or following frequency.
Holding them down starts to move downwards or upwards through the frequencies.
5.-
BAND
: selects between the AM/FM bands.
6.-
DIRECT
: selects one frequency directly. Press DIRECT, then select the desired frequency using the
number buttons and to finalize press DIRECT again. The station is selected in this way. If the frequency
inserted does not correspond to a valid one, ERR will appear on the display.
7.-
SLEEP
: pressing this button activates the automatic off option. Pressing it consecutively lets you choose from
the different sleep times: 90, 80, ...20, 10 minutes or OFF.
8.-
IR
: infrared sensor for the remote control.
9.-
MEMORY
: button for memorizing favourite frequencies. 60 frequencies for FM and 40 for AM can be
tuned.
To memorize a station, tune in to it (manually or automatically), then press the MEMORY button and
select the number of the memory where it is going to be saved using the number buttons on the front
panel or on the remote control. Press the MEMORY button again and the frequency tuned in will be
saved in the selected memory.
10.-
ME-DOWN, ME-UP
: for selecting the memorized frequency or the previous or the following one to it.
11.-
ASM
: holding this button down for more than 1.5 seconds, the tuner looks for stations automatically and
stores them directly in the memory.
12.-
MO/ST
: for selecting between mono or stereo mode.
