INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
Rechargeable batteries can be used with the amplifier.
It is recommended that Ni-MH rechargeable batteries from 1,300 to 2,800 mAh capacity are used.
The rechargeable batteries can be recharged in the battery compartment itself by connecting the AC/DC
adapter to theamplifier.
Throughout charging, the LED RECHARGE indicator will remain lit in red and will switch off automatically
when charging finishes, which takes approximately 10-14 hours.
In order to conserve the rechargeable batteries correctly they must be recharged immediately after use.
Recharge the rechargeable batteries before using them if they have not been used for a long period of time

WARNING

: use the AC/DC adapter exclusively for working the amplifier and for charging the rechargeable

batteries.Do not use alkaline batteries, it can cause serious damage. Do not mix alkaline batteries with
rechargeable batteries.

1.- Insert 6 LR6-AA batteries preferably alkaline or rechargeable in the battery compartment, respecting

the polarity indicated inside.
The amplifier can also be used with the AC/DC adapter.

2.- Position the microphone a suitable distance from the mouth.
3.- Connect the microphone to the MIC IN input of the personal amplifier.

The microphone connector has a safety thread which must be screwed on to the amplifier connector to
avoid accidental disconnections

Slide the metal part gently towards the outside

Screw the plug into the personal amplifier

4.- Position the amplifier adjusting the waistband and placing it in the required position, as far from the

microphone as possible, to avoid interference.

5.- Switch on the amplifier and adjust the volume control to the required level.

Indoors, the amplifier can cause feedback (producing a shrill whistle) more easily than outdoors. When
this happens, the volume must be reduced and the microphone must be separated as much as possible
from the loudspeaker

6.- After use, switch off the amplifier. If it is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove the

batteries to avoid damage.
