FOIL is not designed for night-time operation and
should never be operated at night.
Do not fish from your FOIL.
NEVER operate your FOIL under the influence of
any drugs, alcohol, or prescription medications that
have the ability to affect your reaction time, judg-
ment, coordination, or physical ability. Like driving
a car, driving a watercraft requires the operator to
be sober, attentive and alert.
Operating a watercraft while intoxicated or under
the influence of drugs is not only dangerous, but
it is also a Federal offense carrying a significant
penalty. These laws are vigorously enforced. The
use of drugs and alcohol, singly or in combina-
tion, decreases reaction time, impedes judgment,
impairs vision, and inhibits your ability to safely
operate a watercraft.
NEVER start your FOIL when any swimmers are
in the water nearby.
NEVER operate your FOIL from anyplace but
on the craft itself.
Remember that sun, wind, fatigue, or illness
may impair your judgment and reaction time.
