
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
The following basic safety rules should always be followed:
1. Make sure that your outlet voltage match the voltage that stated on the product.
2. This appliance has been incorporated with a grounded plug. Please ensure the wall outlet
in your house is earthed.
3. To prevent fire, electric shock or injury to users do not immerse cord or plug into water or
other liquid.
4. Do not use the equipment in high temperature, high magnetic field and damp environment.
Do not put the product on a hot surface, near the fire source or other electrical appliances,
such as gas stove, electric burner, heated oven, or refrigerator.
5. Do not use the machine if the cord or plug is damaged, or the machine is broken. Return
or replace the product to the retailer.
6. Please use original accessories. Do not use the accessories that is not provided by the
manufacturer, it may result in fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
7. Do not use appliance for unconventional purposes.
8. To avoid inadvertently pulling the cord, put the machine on a level surface or table. Don't
hang the cord over the edge of the table or counter.
9. The coffee machine shall not be placed in a cabinet when in use.
10. Before using it for the first time, please run it twice with clean water to remove the odor.
11. Some parts of appliance are boiling hot while operating (such as the steam wand and the
steel portafilter). So do not touch it with hand. Use handles or knobs instead.
12. Closely monitored if the product is used by children or near by children.
13. Regularly clean and maintain the coffee machine parts to ensure the quality of coffee and
extend the service life of the coffee machine.
14. Do not move or turn off the power when the coffee machine is working.
15. Do not remove the portafilter when the machine is brewing or steaming. Ensure to
release the pressure before removing the portafilter.
16. Relief pressure through steam wand before removing water tank or portafilter.
17. Do not operate the coffee maker without water.
18. Unplug the product if not in use or ready to clean. Let the espresso machine come to
room temperature before clean or assemble.
19. Do not wash the coffee maker or power cord into water or other liquid.
20. Connect the plug to the wall outlet before using. Switch off the machine before removing
the plug from the wall outlet.
21. Household use only , do not use the espresso machine outdoors.
22. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge unless they
have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliances by a
person responsible for their safety.
OPERATION
First use/Preheating:
1. Pour water into the water tank, the water level should not exceed the "Max" mark in the
water tank. Then close the lid.
2. Set filter into the portafilter and screw it into the appliance
from the " " mark. The portafilter handle is aligned
with the " " mark.
3. Plug in the power, then press the " " button, the machine beeps. "one cup" and "two
cups" button light flashes three times, the machine starts to preheat. (make sure the
"steam knob" is " ". If it is " ", the four lights will flash together and the
machine will not work.)
4. When the indicator light of "one cup" and "two cups" are always on, the preheating is
finished. Press the button of "one cup" to wash the coffee filter or coffee cup with hot
water.
Make Espresso Coffee
1. While the machine is preheating, add coffee ground
(Fine Grind Coffee Ground) to the filter with the
measuring spoon, then compress the coffee ground
into a dense with the tamper. Meanwhile, clean the
coffee ground at the edge of the portafilter with a
brush or hand (if 1 cup is needed, use 1 cup filter; if
2 cups are needed, use 2 cups filter).
2. Insert the portafilter and lock it tightly in the corresponding position, then place the coffee
cup under the portafilter.
